REWIND THERAPY

The rewind technique is a non-intrusive. effective treatment that can greatly reduce, and even remove, PTSD symptoms, OCD and phobias quickly through relaxation and guided imagery.

“Three years ago, I had a panic attack that completely changed my life. From that moment on, I lived in constant fear of the next one. I couldn’t leave the house without anxious thoughts taking over every few minutes. My mind was consumed with worry, intrusive thoughts, and overwhelming anxiety.

Then I started working with Cheryl, and everything changed. Over the course of nine months, her therapy provided me with incredible support, guidance, and the tools I needed to regain control. She truly understood my struggles and helped me navigate them with patience and expertise.

Two months ago, we did something called ‘rewind therapy,’ where I was able to relive my trauma in a safe and controlled way—almost like watching it as a movie. Since that session, I have felt even more at peace. The fear that once dictated my life has faded, and for the first time in years, I feel free.

Now, at 26, I finally have my life back. I’m doing things I never imagined possible, and most importantly, I now have the confidence and tools to face whatever challenges come my way. Cheryl has been an incredible therapist, and I will forever be grateful for the impact she has had on my life.

If you’re struggling with anxiety or fear, I cannot recommend Cheryl enough. She has truly helped me in ways I never thought possible.”

Rewind Therapy is a non-intrusive, safe and highly effective psychological method for neutralising the high emotional arousal which can stay with people long after traumatic experiences are over and has been internationally recognised as treatment for PTSD. The same method can be used just as effectively for curing OCD and phobias. The rewind technique is a comfortable and effective treatment that can greatly reduce, and even remove, traumatic symptoms quickly through relaxation and guided imagery.

Rewind Therapy  offers a way of permanently stopping the involuntary recall by filing the traumatic event so it comes under control.

This non invasive technique can help reduce, or in some cases remove, the following PTSD symptoms:

  • flashbacks

  • intrusive thoughts or images

  • nightmaresintense distress at real or symbolic reminders of the trauma

  • physical sensations such as pain, sweating, nausea, or trembling

“Cheryl suggested rewind therapy to help deal with my history of trauma & I must admit I wasn't convinced at first. I had 2 sessions and now (after a period of about 2 months), I am amazed at my progress. I am no longer tormented with repeated angry thoughts, I am able to cope with life's challenges, and my blood pressure has improved. It definitely unlocked something in me and I finally feel calm inside. I would highly recommend this form of therapy to anyone seeking peace and resolution in their life.”
